DAY 1: MOSCOW
Upon arrival into Moscow, you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure.
DAY 2: MOSCOW
After breakfast at the hotel you will have some free time to become oriented. In the afternoon hotel check out and panoramic city tour. You will visit the most spectaculars places: Vorobyevy Hills, Moscow State University, Novodevichiy Convent, the Diplomatic Village, Victory Park, The Triumphal Arch and much more. Transfer to train station.
Departure to Irkutsk.
DAY 3-5: TRAIN
The first stop will be in Vladimir. One of the cities of the famous “Golden Ring”, known for its history and beautiful gold-domed church. The train heads then towards Nizhny Novgorod. The train also stop in Perm, the old Russian city known as a centre of ballet and literature. It will then take about 5 hours to travel to Yekaterinburg. You will have a stops 40 min. Next stop you will have in Novosibirsk (22min) and Krasnoyarsk(20 min).
DAY 6: IRKUTSK-LAKE BAIKAL
Your train arrives in the morning. Where our representatives will meet you. You will be talen to lake Baikal.
On the way from Irkutsk, we will make a stop at the Ethnographical museum “Taltsy” consisting of examples of Siberian wooden houses from the past centuries. You also make a stop to see the lake from the “Cherskiy Peak” observation point. On arrival to the hotel will have a lunch (optional). After that you will also visit Limnological museum, where exhibits of unique fauna and flora that surround the lake. There is also an aquarium where you can see different species of local fish and Baikal nerpa – the earth’s only fresh water seal. And will visit functioning St. Nicolas the Miracle – Worker Orthodox Church. Overnight.
DAY 7: IRKUTSK
After breakfast you will be taken back by mini bus to Irkutsk where you will continue your tour. You will have a city tour. The tour includes a visit to the Cathedral of the Holy Sign (Znamensky Cathedral). You will then proceed to the Museum of the Decembrist. Overnight in Irkutsk.
DAY 8-10: TRAIN
After breakfast you will be taken to the train station to continue your journey. The journey from Irkutsk to Khabarovsk will be longer than the other legs of your trip, more than 2 days. The scenery of outside of your window is quite repetitive – Siberian taiga, rivers and lakes. The 20-25 minutes stops are a good time to replenish your supplies.
DAY 11: VLADIVOSTOK
On arrival in the Pacific Cost city of Vladivostok, you will be met by our representative and escort to your hotel. The expedition to discover “The Lord of the East” now begins.
DAY 12: VLADIVOSTOK
After breakfast you will have city tour. During the panoramic tour you will the main attraction of Vladivostok: the Vladivostok Railway station, the S-56 Submarin, Arseniev Museum. After the City tour you will enjoy the Golden Horn Bay Cruise(by Public boat). Free time. Tansfer to airport.
