TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: VLADIMIR – BOGOLYUBOVO

(Lunch, Dinner)

In the morning guide will pick you up to depart to Vladimir. Vladimir is
located about 2-3 hours from Moscow.

In the afternoon you will arrive in Vladimir. You will have lunch at the local restaurant.

After lunch you will have panoramic city tour. During the day you will visit the main highlights of the city. The first stop is Assumption Cathedral. This is the main church of the Vladimir-Suzdal Principality. You will also visit Golden Gates. Then you will be escort to the Museum of Crystal. You will see the amazing collection of traditional Russian handicrafts and folk art, rock crystals and Excursion to Bogolyubovo, the Residents of Prince Andrei Bogolybinskii built between 1158 and 1165. Check into hotel. Dinner at the restaurant of the hotel.

DAY 2: SUZDAL

(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast at the hotel you will have panoramic excursion around Suzdal, often called as s Russian Mecca. Suzdal is amazingly beautiful whit churches, wooden houses, bird songs and the ringing bells through the day. You will be taken to the oldest part of Suzdal-Kremlin. On its territory you will admire Cathedral of Nativity. The next stop will be Archbishops Chambers. This place has a unique collection of historical and archaeological objects. After the Archbishops Chambers you will visit the open air museum of Wooden Architecture. The museum recreates the life and traditional of thr people of Suzdal 18-19 century.

* During the low season the museum of museum of Wooden Architecture will be substituted whit the Spaso-Yevfimievsky Monastery of our Savior. Lunch at local restaurant. Transfer to Kostroma. Check into hotel. Dinner at the restaurant of the hotel.

DAY 3: KOSTROMA

(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Welcome to Kostroma. Kostroma is located at the confluence of Volga and Kostroma Rivers. It was founded in the 13th century and has played a major role in Russian history. After breakfast at the hotel you will have a city tour which will take you to Epiphany Cathedral, Ipatievsky Monastery and Trinity Cathedral.

DAY 4: YAROSLAVL

(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast at the hotel you will transfer to Yaroslavl. The ancient Russian town of Yaroslavl stands on a high, steep bank of the Volga River surrounded by boundless forest. You will have a city tour. You will visit Savior Transfiguration Monastery and Church of Elijah the prophet. You will have the lunch at the local restaurant and after enjoy your free time. You can rest, do shopping and much more. Dinner at the hotel restaurant.

* During the low season the Church of Elijah the prophet will be substituted whit the Icon Museum of Prior’s Chamber.

DAY 5: ROSTOV – PERESLAVL ZALESSKY

(Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast at the hotel you will be transfer to Rostov Velikiy. Rostov Velikiy (Great Rostov) is located on the shores of Lake Nero and is one of the oldest town in Russia. You will go on a city tour with visit to the Kremlin and the Museum of Finift (enamel painting). Transfer to Pereslavl Zalessky and lunch at the local restorant. During the short visit to Pereslavl Zalessky, you will have some time to walk on Red Square, admire the Transfiguration Cathedral and take some pictures. After you will escort to Sergiev Posad. Consider as Russian Vatican. Sergiev Posad is the temporary residence of the Patriarch of the Russian Church. You will visit Trinity St. Sergius Monastery. Sergiev Posad is also famous as world’s first Matryoshka.
